Dual-carbon Large-head Dusting and Cleaning Pen with Bristle Brush
Fingerprints on the lens? Wiping them with the corner of your shirt just makes them smudged. This carbon-tip cleaning pen contains carbon particles finer than a strand of hair—just the right size to remove grease without scratching the coating. First, brush away any large particles of dust, then rub the fingerprints in a circular motion. Once you’ve finished, screw the cap back on to automatically replenish the carbon powder. After a whole day of shooting, you’ll always want to have one in your camera bag.
Advantages
1. Dual-head cleaning design: The bristle head removes large particles of dust, whilst the carbon head removes fingerprints and grease, with clearly defined functions
2. Carbon powder adsorption technology: Spherical carbon powder particles measuring 30–45 micrometres effectively adsorb grease and dirt, whilst causing no corrosion or scratches to lens coatings
3. Self-cleaning cap: Simply twist the cap on to replenish the cleaning carbon powder; service life of over 500 uses
4. Versatile application: Suitable for a wide range of devices including camera lenses, mobile phone cameras, binoculars, screens and filters
5. Compact and portable: Approximately 15 cm long and weighing just 15 g; fits easily into a camera bag or pocket
6. No liquid required: Wipe dry without the need for cleaning fluid, avoiding the risk of liquid seeping into the lens

FAQ
Q1: Will the carbon tip scratch the lens coating?
A1: High-quality carbon tips use spherical carbon powder. This powder is softer than the lens coating. When used gently and correctly, they will not cause scratches. When purchasing, we recommend choosing genuine branded products. Inferior products may use angular carbon powder from laser printers. This poses a risk of scratching.
Q2: How should the brush and carbon tip be used respectively?
A2: First, use the brush to remove large particles of dust and sand from the lens surface. This avoids scratching during subsequent wiping. Then, use the carbon tip to wipe the lens in circular motions. Start from the centre and work outwards. Finally, blow away any residual carbon powder.
Q3: Can a damp cloth or cleaning solution be used in conjunction with this product?
A3: No. The carbon tip is designed for dry cleaning. It must not be used in conjunction with liquids such as water or cleaning solutions. Using liquids will reduce the cleaning effectiveness. It may even damage the carbon tip.
Q4: What should I do about residual toner?
A4: Toner itself acts as a cleaning agent. Therefore, a small amount of residue will remain after wiping. This is normal. It is part of the 'sacrificial cleaning' principle. Simply use an air blower to gently blow away the residual powder. Alternatively, wipe it away lightly with a lens cleaning cloth.
