Portable Aluminium Alloy Telescopic Advertising Stand Pvc Roll up Banner
The PVC roll-up banner is a portable display solution designed specifically for trade shows, in-store promotions and event registration. It is no ordinary roll-up banner—made from PVC, it is lighter than aluminium alloy and more robust than plastic, combining portability with durability. It stands up with a single pull and retracts with a single press, with the graphic automatically rolling into the base—no rolling, no folding and no creases.

FAQ
Q1: Is the graphic on the PVC roll‑up banner flat? Does it tend to curl at the edges?
A1: The graphic is flat. It does not tend to curl at the edges. Its flatness is superior to that of an X‑stand.
How it stays flat:
A spring is built into the base. It automatically tensions the graphic once it is pulled out.
A hook on the top crossbar secures the top edge of the graphic.
The graphic automatically rolls out flat — leaving no creases.
Comparison with competitors:
✅ Superior to X‑stands — which tend to curl at the corners.
✅ Achieves a level of flatness comparable to A‑frame stands.
⚠️ After prolonged use, the springs may weaken — causing the graphic to retract slightly.
Recommendations for improvement:
Choose laminated photo paper or rigid PVC sheets — for greater rigidity.
Avoid using standard PP paper — which is soft and prone to creasing.
Q2: Can plastic‑steel roll‑up banners be used outdoors?
A2: Not recommended for outdoor use. They are primarily intended for indoor use.
Indoor use: ✅ Fully suitable — the first choice for exhibitions, shops, and events.
Outdoor use: ⚠️ Limited to windless or very light wind conditions. Reinforcement measures must be taken.
Outdoor reinforcement methods:
Place heavy objects — sandbags, stones, counterweights — on the base. This is most effective.
Choose a weighted base model.
Secure the base to the floor with tape.
Position against a wall or in a corner — to provide additional support.
Note: Roll‑up banners have a large surface area exposed to the wind. Use is not recommended in winds of force 3 or above — as they are prone to being blown over.
Q3: Can the graphic on a plastic‑steel roll‑up banner be replaced? How do I do it?
A3: Yes — it can be replaced. Graphics can be customised separately.
Replacement steps:
Extend the telescopic pole to its full height and remove the old graphic.
Press the retraction button on the base to fully retract the old graphic.
Remove the old graphic roll and replace it with the new one.
Unroll the new graphic and attach it to the crossbar.
Note:
The dimensions of the new graphic must match the display stand specifications.
The graphic must be replaced together with the roll — rolls from different brands may not be compatible.
It is recommended to purchase graphics from the same brand — to ensure compatibility.
Q4: How should PVC roll‑up displays be cleaned and maintained?
A4: Proper maintenance can extend their service life.
Cleaning the graphic:
Gently wipe with a soft cloth dampened with clean water. Avoid scratching with hard objects.
Do not use organic solvents — such as alcohol or petrol.
For stubborn stains, use a neutral detergent.
Maintenance of the base and telescopic poles:
Wipe away dust with a damp cloth.
Check that the springs retract and roll up correctly.
Do not apply excessive force to the telescopic poles.
Storage recommendations:
Retract the screen into the base for storage. Do not leave it extended for long periods.
Store the base upright. Do not lay it on its side or subject it to heavy pressure.
Store in a dry place. Avoid damp conditions.
Service Life:
Normal use: 2‑3 years.
Frequent assembly and disassembly: Service life will be shortened. The springs and telescopic rod are vulnerable parts.
